EL1 Project Coordinator

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished EL1 Project Coordinator who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. About your new role

The EL1 Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating project delivery within a complex, multi-stream programme environment. The role supports the Director to drive delivery outcomes by developing project plans, maintaining schedules and aligning project outcomes with broader programme objectives. The position ensures initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget while proactively managing risks, tracking dependencies and overseeing change control processes. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for maintaining high delivery discipline through the creation of quality reports, briefings and governance papers for executive and ministerial audiences, alongside supporting governance forums like Steering Committees.

• You must possess strong capabilities in project coordination, governance and assurance.
• You need strategic thinking and sound judgement to successfully manage competing priorities.
• A proven ability to lead teams and influence positive outcomes is essential.
• The ability to effectively apply structured methodologies such as project lifecycles, stage gates and governance processes is crucial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required to build relationships.
• You need a strong understanding of government programme delivery, alongside policy and operational environments.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling and resource management within a complex delivery environment is necessary for this role.
